Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply to UK orders only.

TERM AND CONDITIONS: Orders submitted on www.beautyinabox.co.uk
are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. By submitting
an order on our the virtual shop you agree and accept to be bound by
these conditions (your statutory rights are not affected).
GENERAL INFORMATION: Beauty In A Box reserves the right to
make changes to product information and prices without prior notice.
If any item you have ordered is subject to any increase in price, we
will notify you prior to despatch.
SECURITY: Beauty in A Box uses the secure payment system PROTX
to collect payment information for goods purchased.
The PROTX payment system uses a combination of established and
innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all
sensitive data. Their internet facing servers are certified by VERISIGN, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Protx
to obtain secure information.
Transaction Security: The transfer of the less sensitive
transaction details from the retailer's site to Protx is encrypted
and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is
secure and tamper-proof.
Security for the Shopper: Any communication between the customer
and Protx is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the
customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent
use of their card in a 'card not present' environment, by their card
issuer.
Data Storage: All data stored on Protx systems is held on
encrypted and highly secured databases. Protx are regularly audited
by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the
latest security standards.
Once your order has been processed all financial information is
deleted from our electronic and paper records. Some personal
information about you will be retained by us in line with the Data
Protection Act (your name, address and contact telephone number) so
that we can despatch your order and keep you informed about our
products. Your details will not be disclosed to any third party. If
you do not wish to receive information from us then contact us and
we will remove your details from the database.
PRICING: All prices shown are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT
and delivery charges within the UK. You may pay by any major credit
or debit card. Prices, offers and products are subject to
availability and may change at any time prior to acceptance of your
order

We send most orders by First Class
Post (this does not include any special offers which are available
from time to time which may be sent by standard post).
Heavier
parcels (i.e. shampoo) will be sent by Standard Parcel Post due to
postage costs.
We endeavour to despatch your order either on the date
of order or the next working day (customers sending a cheque by
post, should allow 7 working days for the cheque to clear), however
please allow 7-10 working days for delivery.
There may be a delay in
despatching your order if any item is out of stock; you will be
notified and given the opportunity to amend or cancel your order if
expected despatch exceeds 14 days.
Deliveries will be made by Royal
Mail.
Please note: Delivery is by Royal Mail, therefore Beauty in a
Box cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal
system.
RETURNS
We will refund goods that are sent back to us within 7 working days
of receipt of the goods. All goods must be returned unused for a
full refund.
Please wrap returns securely in the same packaging in which you
received them.
You will be responsible for the shipping cost and
ensuring that the goods arrive in perfect condition. We suggest that
you send returns using recorded or special delivery. We are not
liable for the cost of returning goods.
Confirmation of cancellation of orders must be sent to us in writing
by letter, fax or email.
If goods are damaged on receipt, please
keep damaged goods and contact us immediately
Beauty In A Box cannot accept returned goods that have been opened
or tampered with. All returns must be made within 14 days.
All purchases from www.beautyinabox.co.uk are governed by English
Law.
DISCLAIMER: At the moment the law requires that unless a
substance or product has a medical licence, no claim can be made as
to its efficacy for a medical condition. Accordingly, suggestions in
our website catalogue are only intended as a helpful guide and are
based on traditional use and current research. The views expressed
by third parties placing material on these pages do not represent
the views of Beauty In A Box. We are unable to monitor the content
not produced by us and have not reviewed all the third party
material published on this site.

liability whatsoever in relation to the content of third party

PATCH TEST
Our products are enjoyed by many customers with no problems at all,
however everyone's skin is different and we
recommend that all customers do a patch test before using our
products. Simply apply a little of the product to an
inconspicuous area and leave it for 24 hours. If, after that time,
there is an adverse reaction then it’s not for you - contact us for
a refund. |
